Karen, who values comedy above all things, except her four wonderful children, is delighted to be a cast member in the SMCP’s very amusing production of The 39 Steps. Coincidentally, Karen feels that the following 39 steps led her to her goal of acting in a play:

1 thrilling High School drama experience
+ 4 years of Theatre Arts studies at York U.
+ 2 years in an improvisational comedy group
+ 32 year teaching career (played role of brilliant, competent teacher)
= 39 steps!

Karen, in her quest to discover all the best things St. Marys, has really hit the jackpot with the SMCP. She is awed by the vast talent and experience of the rest of the cast and the entire production crew, and is grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an inspiring team.
