Bob Shannon

Bob is pleased and excited to join the SMCP family in his debut in ‘The 39 Steps’. Now living in St. Marys in ‘Partial Retirement’ he enjoyed a successful career in Sales and Marketing. He was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a Broadcast Journalist On-Air with CHLO in London and CHYM/CKGL in Kitchener-Waterloo.

His foray into local Theatre began with Wellesley Community Theatre where he portrayed a shady Police Detective in ‘The Beatles Slept Here’ and a Swashbuckling Pirate Captain in ‘On the High Seas’. Next, he joined Stratford Community Theatre for its production of Arsenic and Old Lace where Bob played the role of Jonathan Brewster, the Serial Killing nephew of his two ‘Pixilated’ Aunts.

With SMCP’s production of ‘The 39 Steps’, Bob plays a number of interesting characters. He is a Travelling Salesman, a Police Officer, The Chief Detective Inspector of New Scotland Yard, a Thug and a British Lord of The Manor.
