Recap from the 2019 WODL awards dinner and gala

SMCP enjoyed a fun night at the Western Ontario Drama League WODL awards dinner and gala held in Guelph on Saturday, March 16th, 2019.

Our production of The Game’s Afoot by Ken Ludwig and directed by Tania Harvey (she was also the costume designer) received 9 nominations and received 2 awards. Liane Gregory-Sterritt won Best Supporting Actress and Tania Harvey won for Best Costumes.

Our congratulations to all the community theatres in Western Ontario that participated and received nominations and won awards in WODL Festival 2019. Also deserving of a shout out is Elmira Theatre Company and Guelph Little Theatre for producing this year's event in Guelph.

Congratulations to Theatre Sarnia for an incredible production of Girls Like That and moving on to represent WODL at Theatre Ontario Festival 2019 in Richmond Hill in May.
