Casting call! Auditions for “Fantasticks”

Audition dates for the SMCP fall production of "Fantasticks" are as follows:

AUDITION DATES

Friday, May 31, from 7 - 10 pm
Saturday, June 1, from 12 noon to 4 pm
Call backs: Wednesday, June 5, from 7 to 9 pm

ROLES

The Narrator (El Gallo) - Male, 30-50
The Girl (Luisa) - Female, 15-25
The Boy (Matt) - Male, 18-25
The Boy's Father (Hucklebee) - Male, 40-60
The Girl's Father (Bellomy) - Male, 40-60
The Actor (Henry) - Male, 50-70
The Man Who Dies (Mortimer) - Male, 30-50
The Mute - Any gender, 20-50

LOCATION

Auditions will take place at the St Marys Presbyterian Church, 147 Widder St East. Parking is available on the west side of the church.

Enter through the glass doors on the east side addition to the church.

DETAILS

Please bring a resumé of your theatrical training/experience and prepare a song from a musical. Bring the sheet music in your key (accompanist will be provided); also prepare a one minute monologue from any show. You may be asked to do a cold read from scripts provided at the audition.

Some roles have the possibility of being cast in either gender. All are encouraged to audition.
